I’ve Seen The Light!
This news isn’t about Chat Noir Productions, but IS of interest to us & the local area in which we’re based.
The first ‘Light Cinema’ in the UK is opening in New Brighton, Wirral just a few miles up the road from Chat Noir Productions HQ.
This is exciting to us at Chat Noir not only because it’s a fully digital cinema experience right on our doorstep, but also because their Grand Opening is an Orange Carpet Premiere showing of ‘New Years Eve‘. Yes, you read that right,’Orange Carpet’.
The premiere is not only the launch of the new cinema & the UK premiere of ‘New Years Eve’, but it’s also in aid of the RNLI (hence the RNLI-themed ‘orange’ carpet). According to the Facebook event page, guests will be be greeted by champagne-bearing lifeguards as they arrive, before a fish & chip supper & finally the screening of the film.
Ever since Chat Noir Productions produced two videos for the Hoylake Lifeboat Museum (NOT affiliated with the RNLI but a registered charity in its own right), & learnt a lot of the history of the RNLI & it’s people, we have nothing but admiration for the men & women of this most important of British institutions!
To that end, we’ll definitely be treading the orange carpet come December the 7th!
